Kanda Sushi Reviewed

For sushi lovers that love fresh fish Kanda is a Japanese owned local favorite. For those who want to have the chef make a custom roll with this and that, well, not so much. Mitsu the owner is very proud of his fish and he knows how to serve it. I’m OK with that even though it’s more like a ‘sushi Nazi’ approach, take it or leave it. Very fresh, very yummy and on the pricey side, $50 each easy with sake. I like the fresh fish. If you’re into mayonnaise and “K”rabmeat there are many other choices but for fresh and creative sushi in the Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks area I think it’s great and I go there often. 3-4 times per month. The specials are definitely worth it and asking him to prepare whatever he thinks is good is also a delicious choice. The YELP special offer will not be honored but for my dollar it’s worth it for good fish. Not a roll joint really although they have some tasty ones.
